CSMS Vision

We will: Embrace differences, teach and model character, demonstrate personal, professional, and academic integrity, serve as positive mentors and role models, teach effective goal-setting, and hold ourselves and our students to the highest standards. (Character) We will: Establish high expectations, teach our students to be self-directed, lifelong learners who collaborate, think creatively, communicate effectively, think critically, and engage with rigorous coursework. In turn, we will provide academic support at every level, celebrate growth and effort, and be accountable for our results. (Scholarship) We will: Develop respectful relationships with students and their families, create and encourage extracurricular opportunities and participation, plan and deliver engaging learning experiences, and encourage friendship. (Memories) We will: Encourage ownership of our learning environment, seek curriculum-relevant service projects, and partner with our community and its leaders to help our students gain an understanding of global citizenship. (Service)

CSMS Mission

The faculty, staff, and community of Carolina Springs Middle School pulls together to create an exemplary, developmentally appropriate learning experience for adolescent learners through effective, innovative teaching practices, celebrating growth and effort, and building positive relationships.

Blended Learning

Students will experience a variety of learning opportunities through small and large group direct instruction, collaborative peer learning activities and individualized digital learning programs. Instruction will be more individualized and student-driven. Daily formative assessment data will be used to meet each student’s changing needs! Capturing Kids' Hearts

Gives teachers a set of tools and strategies to help create relationships with their students that lead to benefits such as fewer discipline issues and greater student success. Their slogan is, “If you have a child’s heart, you have his head.”
