Any 7th or 8th grade girl or boy who passed last year is eligible to try out. (Social promotions do not count; if you have questions, please contact the coach.)
Girls tryouts will be held on Monday, November 3, and Tuesday, November 4, from 3:45 - 5:15 PM in the CSMS Gym.
Boys tryouts will be held Monday, November 3, through Wednesday, November 5, from 5:30 - 7:00 PM in the CSMS Gym.
Participants must attend all tryout days unless you are cut. Tryouts are closed to everyone except coaches and athletes.
You must have a current medical physical dated after April 1, 2025, on file, along with all completed paperwork, on Big Teams. Directions and links for Big Teams can be found on our Athletics homepage.
Attire: 7th grade girls should wear white t-shirts, and 8th grade girls should wear black t-shirts.
Transportation: Girls tryouts end at 5:15 PM, and boys tryouts end at 7:00 PM. Students must have a ride waiting outside in the bus loop near the gym. No student will be allowed to wait out front of the school for a ride.
Practices
Girls practices will begin Wednesday, November 5.
Boys practices will begin Thursday, November 6.
