• Tardies reset at the beginning of each semester.
• Students receive three warnings before receiving a consequence.
• Consequences for repeated tardies

• A parent/guardian or approved family contact must present their valid photo ID at the main office.
• The person signing the student out must be listed in PowerSchool.
• No dismissals will be accepted by telephone.
• Students will not be dismissed through the main office during the last 15 minutes of any school day without administrative approval.

District Medication Orders Form

Students can self-carry epi-pens, albuterol inhalers, and diabetic supplies with proper documentation. Please complete the self-carry forms below and submit them to the school nurse.

Student Announcements
Students receive weekly digital announcements via email each Monday morning during the school year. Students should check their email regularly to stay up-to-date on events, clubs, and other announcements.

Morning announcements are made over the intercom system at 8 AM each school day.

Edmentum is an online education tool that allows students to get personalized instruction adapted to their needs. Through digital-based curricula, assessments, and virtual-learning tools, Edmentum gives students the ability to learn core and elective subjects at their own pace. 

Edmentum is accessed through the student's ClassLink Launchpad.

Our district uses Google apps to help students learn, stay organized, and complete assignments. This provides students access to classwork from any device, allowing for collaboration with classmates and communication with teachers.

ParentSquare is our school-to-home communication platform. All announcements, class information, calendar updates, volunteer sign-ups, forms, direct messages, and more are sent through ParentSquare and can be accessed through the app or via a web browser.

Schoology is our district's middle-level learning management system. Teachers use Schoology to post and organize all class materials, assignments, and digital resources in one location.

Each student at Carolina Springs Middle School receives a school-issued Apple iPad and charger. School-issued devices are used to facilitate learning both in the classroom and at home. Students are responsible for ensuring the device is charged, cared for, and used primarily for educational purposes, following the district's student device handbook.

Zearn is an online math program for students that offers digital lessons with on-screen instruction, visual models, and adaptive practice. This is one way students can build understanding and confidence in math at their own pace.
