Patrice Green, EdD
As the proud principal of Carolina Springs Middle School, I bring a deep passion for student success and a wealth of experience in both elementary and secondary education. Prior to joining the CSMS family, I served as assistant principal at Clover High School and Harold C. Johnson Elementary School. My journey in education began in Lee County, where I taught seventh-grade History, followed by eight enriching years teaching eighth-grade South Carolina History at York Middle School.
A native of Givhans, South Carolina, and a graduate of Summerville High School, I earned a B.S. in History from Francis Marion University and an M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction from Winthrop University. I continued my professional growth by earning an Ed.S. in 2015 and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University in 2024.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, shopping, and swimming with my three amazing children.
I am honored to lead a community committed to learning, growing, and excelling—together as One Pack, One Purpose.

I have been a proud member of the Carolina Springs family since the school opened in 2007. Prior to teaching at Carolina Springs, I taught at Palmetto High School (Anderson School District One) and Lexington Middle School (Lexington School District One). Through the years, I have taught many wonderful 6th-12th graders AVID, Leadworthy, and Spanish, facilitated virtual Latin and Sign Language, worked with students who needed extra support, and served as assistant girls' basketball coach.
Originally from Anderson, S.C., I am a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School. I hold a B.A. in Spanish Education from Anderson University. While attending AU, I had the pleasure of studying abroad at Cemanahuac Educational Community in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and performing with various chorales and wind symphonies. I hold an M.A. in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina and have earned certification in English for Speakers of Other Languages as well as Gifted and Talented Education.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Trey. We love to travel, attend sporting events, and visit family.

While this is my sixth year as a Husky, I began my career in education at St. John’s High School on Johns Island, SC, as an English teacher. While there, I was named Rookie Teacher of the Year and Personalized Learning Demonstration Teacher. In 2016, I joined Lexington One as an English and Model Classroom teacher at River Bluff High School. Since 2019, I have served the Husky family as the digital learning coach and an assistant principal. I hold a bachelor's degree in English and master’s degrees in educational administration and teaching from University of South Carolina. I also participated in the Lowcountry Writing Project at The Citadel.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, Marcus and Eleanor. In my spare time, I am an avid reader, and I play competitive softball.
I look forward to an amazing and rewarding school year watching all of our students learn and grow to their fullest potential. Go Huskies!
